The Red Lodge Museum

The Red Lodge Museum in Bristol is a historic building with over 400 years of history. It houses a unique collection that documents the evolution of the building from a royal reception house in the 16th century to a Victorian reform school for girls in the 19th century. These different phases come to life in the museum's rooms, providing visitors with a fascinating insight into the history and social circumstances of these eras.

One particularly outstanding feature of the museum is the Great Oak Room, which is considered the last fully preserved Elizabethan room in Bristol and gives an impression of the luxurious design of that time.
